This policy explains the data that our service, MTProxier, must temporarily handle to function, and clarifies what data we never collect. Our goal is full transparency.
What Data is Processed (and Why)
A proxy service, by its very nature, must see some data in-transit to route your requests. This data is processed in your server's memory for a fraction of a second and is never written to disk or stored.
- Your IP Address: Your IP is necessary to establish a network connection between your device and our server, and to send the web content you requested back to you. We do not log it.
- Websites You Visit (URLs): When the extension is active, the addresses of the websites you visit are passed through our servers. This is essential for our server to fetch the content from that website on your behalf. This browsing activity is not logged or analyzed.
Intelligent Bypass Feature
To further protect your privacy and improve your speed, our extension includes an intelligent bypass list. This feature automatically prevents traffic to local sites from being sent through our proxy. This means your local browsing activity never even reaches our server.
Data Security
The connection between your browser (the MTProxier extension) and our server is secured and encrypted using industry-standard SSL/TLS encryption to protect your data while it is in transit.
